Sept 29 – Homecoming – Kevin Kinlaw will be our guest speaker. There will be no evening service.
The NC Missions Offering will be collected Sept 1, 8, and 15.
Starting in September, the men's Sunday School class will be studying about some Baptist basics. The pastor will start a sermon series based on Thom Rainer's "I am a Church Member." And we'll look at family on Wednesday nights.
Sermon Highlights
How We Should Listen To God's Word (Nehemiah 8:1-9)
· We should read and listen to God's Word with attention and reverence.
· Seek to understand it.
· Then, we should let it bring us to repentance and to rejoicing.
All 5 aspects are needed. Which one do we need to work on? Ask God to help you with that.
