Homecoming / Cleanup

Everyone is needed to help clean the church on Sat., June 3, from 8:30am-Noon.

· High School Graduates will be honored during the 11am service.

· Business meeting after the morning service.

· Youth Comm at 4:30pm

· Thrive at 5:30pm

· Adult Bible Study at 6pm (Getting more out of prayer)

WOM

All women are invited out on Monday, June 5 at 6:30pm. Please bring some food and some Bible questions.

Scholarships

The John Nall Memorial Scholarship forms are in the foyer for any high school graduate who is an active member of Calvary and will be attending a 2 or 4 year college. Please return the forms to Patricia by June 14.

Calvarymen's Trip

All men are invited! We will be leaving the church at 6am on Saturday, June 17 for the Flea Market on Rt. 311 (above Randleman).

Prayer Room

Please continue to use the prayer room for quiet prayer before each service.

Mercy's Well in Concert

Mercy's Well will be in concert here at Calvary on Sunday, June 25 at 6pm. This is a free event. A love offering for Mercy's Well will be taken. Please mark your calendar for this event and start spreading the news.

Our Daily Bread

The June - August edition is available in the foyer.

· Romans was written by Paul to help the Roman Christians see how to "live by faith" (Romans 1:17).

· Romans 1:17 is a quote from Habakkuk 2:4. In Romans 1:17, Paul emphasized "the just." In Galatians 3:11, he emphasized "shall live." And in Hebrews 10:38, the writer emphasized "by faith."

Today's second offering will be for North American Missions.

Church Vote Today

After worship, we'll vote on:

1. Remove stumps by the Fellowship Hall ($3,500).

2. Replace windows and doors in Fellowship Hall ($7,392).

Monies will come from the Building and Grounds Fund.

Bible Drill

This Wednesday, May 17, we'll have a Bible Drill. And no electronic Bibles are allowed.

Honoring Graduates

We will be honoring our high school and college graduates on Sunday, June 4. Please let Pastor Bill know the names and schools of any graduates from Calvary by May 21.

Community Fun Day

Please spread the word about our Fun Day this Saturday, May 20 from 10am until 2pm.

We will need cakes for the cakewalk and help in a variety of areas. Please let Clara know where you can help.
