The NC Missions Offering will be collected Sept 1, 8, and 15.
Starting in September, the men's Sunday School class will be studying about some Baptist basics. The pastor will start a sermon series based on Thom Rainer's "I am a Church Member." And we'll look at family on Wednesday nights.
Sermon Highlights
Nehemiah: Devious Diversions (Nehemiah 6:1-5)
1. Satan will try to stop us from doing God's work.
2. Don't stop God's work because of compromise, slander or deception.
3. But no matter what Satan tries to do, and no matter what happens, we need to keep serving the LORD our God and keep doing God's work.
