2 Kings were written by Jeremiah to the Israelites in Palestine.
· 2 Kings 8:1-6 may have happened before chapter 5.
2 Chronicles was written by Ezra to Israel.
· 2 Chronicles 24:15 – Jehoida was the oldest man since the flood – 130 years old.
Joel was written by Joel to the people of Judah (the Southern Kingdom).
· Joel 2:20 – Joel foresaw both the Assyrian and Babylonian invasions.
Matthew was written by Matthew to Greek speaking Jews.
· Matthew 10:3 – Bartholomew is the same person as Nathaniel and Thaddaes is the same person as Judas, son of James.

Sermon Highlights
Submission in the Workplace (1 Peter 2:18-25)
· We are to submit to our bosses.
